Whitewater Arts Alliance Showcase

Eligibility:
Exhibition open to all current Whitewater Arts Alliance (WAA) members of all mediums (2D and/or 3D). Must be artists’ original work. Source material must be original and not derived from any published images or copyright work/commercial patterns. NO JURIED FEE.

Participation Details:
Artists may submit up to four pieces for consideration.
Accepted artwork must be on display for the entirety of the exhibition. No early take down, no exceptions.
2D Artwork: Work must be framed or mounted canvas. All pieces must be wired for hanging, so saw tooth hangers, no maximum size. Maximum piece weight of 100lbs or less. Materials for non-standard installation methods must be provided by the artist of work 25lbs or more.
3D Artwork: Work must come with installation instructions. Pedestals are provided unless otherwise requested by the artist. Materials for non-standard installation methods must be provided by the artist.
WAA is happy to assist with sales of artwork. This show is COMMISSION FREE! Artists’, however, are responsible for paying their own sales taxes (Wisconsin 5.5%).

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION:
1. Download the forms from the checklist above, fill out, and send as attachments to wwartsalliance@gmail.com
or mail addressed to: Whitewater Arts Alliance, P.O. Box 311, Whitewater, WI, 53190.
2. Fill out the online form (button to the right) to submit through online.
If you are also applying for membership simultaneously, you must mail in your check made payable to Whitewater Arts Alliance to the address above.
ARTWORK IMAGE GUIDELINES:
All participants will be juried using digital JPEG images. A maximum of 2 digital images per piece may be submitted. Digital images must be high quality JPEGs, limit size to 1MB. Images exceeding this size limit will not be considered. Submit all images either online, via e-mail, or mail.
File Format: JPEG Only
File Resolution: 72 ppi/dpi (standard web resolution)
File Size: 1 MB (maximum) Files exceeding this size will not be considered.
File Name: Should be read as “Last name _media_ entry title”
All acceptance notifications will be emailed by August 26th.
