Marilyn Annucci Poetry Reading

Marilyn Annucci of Madison, Wisconsin named winner of the 2018 Press 53 Award for Poetry for The Arrows That Choose Us. Ms. Annucci is the author of two chapbooks-Waiting Room, winner of the 2102 Sunken Garden Poetry Prize (Hill-Stead Museum, 2012), and Luck (Parallel Press, 2000). Originally from Massachusetts, Marilyn has lived in Madison, Wisconsin, for twenty years, and teaches at the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater, where she is Professor of English in the Department of Languages and Literatures.

Marilyn Annucci's book, The Arrows That Choose Us, is the winner of the 2018 Press 53 Poetry Award, and you can find the book at Press 53. Marilyn is also the author of two chapbooks: Waiting Room, which won the 2012 Sunken Garden Poetry Prize (Hill-Stead Museum), and Luck (Parallel Press). Her work has appeared in various journals, including Prairie Schooner, Indiana Review, Rattle, North American Review, Wisconsin People & Ideas, Verse Wisconsin, VerseWrights, and Antiphon. Her work is also in the 2017 edition of New Poetry from the Midwest (New American Press, 2017).
